Do I need a motorcycle licence?
For any riding on public roads you must hold the appropriate UK licence or entitlement for the motorcycle used. The First Ride Experience is designed for controlled-environment riding and is not a substitute for CBT.
Do you provide CBT or a DL196 certificate?
No. Back to Biking is not a DVSA Approved Training Body and does not issue DL196 certificates.
Can I use one of your motorcycles?
Yes, subject to the chosen experience, licence entitlement, availability and insurance eligibility. Current bikes include the Benelli Leoncino, Benelli Imperiale and Gilera Nexus 500 automatic.
Can I use my own motorcycle?
Potentially. Tell us what you ride when enquiring so the session can be planned appropriately and insurance requirements can be checked.
What should I wear?
Suitable protective motorcycle clothing is required. We can discuss helmet, jacket, gloves, trousers and footwear requirements before the booking.
What happens if the weather is poor?
Motorcycling is weather-dependent. If conditions are unsafe, we may postpone or rearrange the session in line with the Terms & Conditions.
I am nervous about riding again. Is that a problem?
No. The whole point is to work at a sensible pace. Tell us what concerns you and we can shape the session around rebuilding confidence gradually.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Yes. Gift vouchers are available and are valid for 12 months from purchase, subject to the voucher terms.
