These terms apply to Back to Biking experiences. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms that apply to that booking.
Bookings may be arranged through the website, email, telephone or another agreed method. A deposit or full payment may be required. A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing and any required payment has been received.
We will try to rearrange a booking where reasonable and subject to availability. One date change is normally permitted with reasonable notice; repeated changes may incur an administration charge.
Motorcycling is weather-dependent. Where weather or road conditions make the session unsafe or unsuitable, we may postpone, change the route, shorten the road element or offer a replacement date.
For public-road riding, you must hold the appropriate licence or entitlement for the motorcycle being used and provide evidence if requested. Back to Biking is not a DVSA Approved Training Body and does not issue DL196 certificates.
You must be reasonably fit to participate and must tell us before the session about any matter that could materially affect safe participation. We may stop or decline a session where continuing would be unsafe.
Suitable protective clothing and an approved helmet are required for riding. Specific requirements will be confirmed before the session. Any loan equipment is subject to availability and must be used as instructed.
Where one of our motorcycles is used, you must follow all reasonable instructions and take proper care of it. Responsibility for damage caused by deliberate misuse or negligence may be charged where permitted by law and the booking terms.
You must not participate while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any medication that makes riding unsafe. A session may be cancelled without refund where participation is unsafe for this reason.
Any insurance cover is subject to its own terms, exclusions and eligibility requirements. We may need licence and other information before confirming that a rider can use a particular motorcycle.
Please arrive on time. Late arrival may shorten the session. A no-show without contact may be treated as a cancellation with no refund.
We may stop, change or refuse a session if we reasonably believe it is unsafe to continue or if reasonable safety instructions are not followed.
We will not publish identifiable photos or video of you for marketing without an appropriate lawful basis. If you do not want photography during your experience, tell us before the session.
Please contact us first if you are unhappy so we can try to resolve matters. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
Unless otherwise stated, vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase, are not redeemable for cash and are subject to booking availability and the eligibility requirements for the chosen experience.
